DO NOT delete entries on Wikipedia:Votes for deletion without a week's discussion. RickK 07:22 26 Jul 2003 (UTC)

Hello, Fuzzywolfenburger. Welcome to Wikipedia.

A few tips for you, although it appears that they are probably superfluous, since you appear to have quite handily got the hang of the place.

  • When you have time, check out Wikipedia:Welcome, newcomers + the links in there.
  • If puzzled, put a question on Wikipedia:Village pump, or feel free to ask me on my talk page if it's a very general question.
  • Most of all, have fun but take our work seriously!

Hello. When you create a new page, could you begin with a complete sentence rather than a dictionary-style definition (e.g., in gentleman thief) and highlight the title word or title phrase at its first appearance? Thanks. Michael Hardy 20:00, 2 Aug 2003 (UTC)

A similar complaint. Random article produced The Fool (Zero) which I was about to place on VfD until I realized it was (sort of) notable but lacked any sort of intro whatsoever. Also, before careful to place things in your own wording--looks like cut-and-paste. Marskell 18:31, 20 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

--If I remember correctly, I created that page to mirror the other similar tarot pages or "The Fool" was directing to the wron place. Not sure because it was over a year ago. Fuzzywolfenburger

Talk page[edit]

Please do not remove legitimate warnings from your talk page or replace them with inappropriate content. Removing or maliciously altering warnings from your talk page will not remove them from the page history. You're welcome to archive your talk page, but be sure to provide a link to any deleted legitimate comments. If you continue to remove or vandalize legitimate warnings from your talk page, you will lose your privilege of editing your talk page. Thanks. Shannernanner 16:08, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In response to your email, no, I am not out for "revenge" on you. Per the warning text, removing specific warnings without archiving them is not permitted; I believe it is also permitted to blank the entire page, specifying such in the edit summary and/or at the top of the page. If you have any other questions regarding the specific guidelines, perhaps it would be best to address them to a currently active member. Thanks. Shannernanner 19:58, 27 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Robert Todd Lincoln Beckwith[edit]

A "{{prod}}" template has been added to the article Robert Todd Lincoln Beckwith, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. January 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add content (particularly if you change facts and figures), as you have to the article Wolfgang poe, please cite a reliable source for the content you're adding or changing. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. PDCook (talk) 21:02, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Wolfgang Poe has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable biography of a chef. If he is a TV personality, it must be local access, as I'm finding very few sources and non that establish notability.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. PDCook (talk) 21:04, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
