Dentistry WikiProject[edit]

It is great to see you are interested in helping out at WikiProject Dentistry. There is such a few of us that can help out in this particular topic, so all contributions are welcomed. There is a new portal that was made recently just for dentistry: Portal:Dentistry. Also, you can always check out things to do. There are lists of articles that are not assessed according to the article rating system used by the project. If you have any questions at all, feel free to leave me a message. Hope to see you around! - Dozenist talk 23:51, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Khwaja Kamalud Deen[edit]

Dear brother, I have just read the article on Khwaja sahib's life. I think Lahore Ahmadiyya are doing a disservice to their leaders by writing stubs for personalities like Khwaja Sahib and Maulana Muhammad Ali Sahib. Khwaja Sahib had an eventfull life and his efforts in the UK should be given some mention in this article. As an Ahmadi (AMC) I feel justice should be done to the life and works of the companions of Promised Messiah (as). Wassalam, SK

Redesign[edit]

I recently did a redesign of the Ahmadiyya template. Let me know what you think: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Template:Ahmadiyya&diff=163634682&oldid=162409891

Give your opinion here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template_talk:Ahmadiyya#Redesign --Enzuru 19:51, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Work on the Ahmadi template talk page resumes. We need your input. Thank you. --Enzuru 13:59, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback[edit]

You have been granted with the rollback permission on the basis of your recent effort on dealing with vandalism. The rollback is a revert tool which can lessen the strains that normal javascripts such as twinkle put on the Wikipedia servers. You will find that you will revert faster through the rollback than through the normal reversion tools such as javascripts and the undo feature, because the rollback feature does not require fetching the data from the page history and then sending article data back to the Wikipedia server as the javascript requires, therefore you could save time especially when reverting very large articles such as the George W. Bush page. To use it, simply click the link which should look like [rollback] (which should appear unbolded if you have twinkle installed) on the lastest diff page. The rollback link will also appear on the history page beside the edit summary of the lastest edit. For more information, you may refer to this page, alternatively, you may also find this tutorial on rollback helpful.Yamamoto Ichiro 会話 03:50, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ahmadi[edit]

Hi,

I think that the two Ahmadiyya groups should not be mentioned in the opening, they have been mentioned in the 3rd paragraph. Moreover Ahmadiyyat did not originally emerge as two seperate movements but the second branch broke of six years after the death of the founder. Anyhow, both are centered around Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, both accept him as the promised Messiah and Mahdi, I think the two branches should be kept under one banner as much as possible atleast in the introduction. Setting the foundations for future Islamic articles[edit]

It's been a while[edit]

You literally work in these (relatively) inactive graveyard shift articles, I admire you for that. I also admire you for your skill in Assembly, alas, I have yet to learn it. --Enzuru 01:04, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What in the world are you coding, an OS schedular? --Enzuru 02:36, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Why not implement something over it to speed your dev time? --Enzuru 02:42, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Comparison to Mainstream Islam[edit]

Why do you keep writing that there are "Differ" for beliefs held under mainstream islam. The beliefs of Jesus(PBUH) and the finality of the prophet do not differ. By impling that there are variations, you are purposefully decieving the reader into believing that the Ahmedis simply fall under a group that "differs." However, if you want to provide proof of the different believes held under "mainstream" Islam then please list them. -quizling22204 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Quizling22204 (talkcontribs) 14:22, 26 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your point is fine. However, you write "differs" on the values of mainstream Islam. There are no dissentining opinions on Jesus(PBUH) or any other mainstream beliefs. You can say that Muslims differ in their opinions of Qaidainis but you cannot apply that mainstream beliefs without citing dissenting opinions. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Quizling22204 (talkcontribs) 21:26, 4 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Dentistry -- Update[edit]

Hey there! Over the past year or so, the WikiProject Dentistry has fallen into disrepair. Dozenist hasn't been around in nearly 2 years, and after some email communication, he's indicated that he's no longer interested in heading the project. In fact, the project has been labeled inactive since November 2010!

My plan is to focus less on internal bureaucratic policy and more on article creation, article clean-up and article maintenance. That's why people use Wikipedia to search for dental topics -- because it contains wonderfully explained, wonderfully formatted information on relevant topics, not because there are 5 dental articles featured as GA or 7 articles featured as such. So if that's what you like, don't let me stop you, but I think the focus should be on, as I said, article creation and article maintenance.

I welcome all comments, questions and suggestions. If you're new and you'd like help, I'll try to guide you. You can check out my latest few articles: Underwood's septa, platform switching, Bone remodeling period, Cone beam computed tomography, C-terminal telopeptide and furcation defect. You cannot imagine how many dental students I come across at Columbia who tell me they utilize Wikipedia on a weekly basis, but find that there are not enough articles on dental subjects. So let's get out there are create well written, well sourced articles on dental topics. Have a great day! DRosenbach (Talk | Contribs) 12:42, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
