Since you put your name down as a spanish to english traslator i thought you might be interested in the new Spanish translation of the week collaboration project. This weeks collaboration is Género chico.(Disclosure: this is a bit of a "mass mailing", I'm working my way down the list of Spanish-to-English translators.)

Articles for deletion/David Cochrane[edit]

I thought I'd let you know that the David Cochrane article has ben listed for deletion. In my view, it is important and in the interests of WP that users knowledgeable about the subject matter make their views known. If you wish to comment, please do so here: [1]. Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Doovinator! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot notifying you on behalf of the the unreferenced biographies team that 1 of the articles that you created is currently tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 942 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 18:37, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

WP:Astrology project would like your views on what constitutes appropriate content and sources for astrology-related content[edit]

Hi, this is to let you know that there is an important discussion taking place in the WP:Astrology project, which affects the guidelines for content and sources on astrology-related pages. This requires input from its members. It would be very much appreciated if you could leave a comment/express your views on the issues raised.

Hope you can find time to add a few thoughts

Disambiguation link notification for February 17[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Bozo the Clown, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page KBTV (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi, in case you have the time, I'm making a general request hoping that someone can tidy my machine code translation of the Population Matters' article mentioned. (Ultimately I hope to move the article to "População é importante" or whatever might be the best translation of "Population (as a subject) is important"). The article is currently up for deletion so I'm contacting a few potential translators. Please check: W:pt:Population_Matters&action=history to avoid wasting time. If the article is deleted I would still appreciate its development at w:pt:Usuário(a):Gregkaye/Testes. Any help with any population related article would also be appreciated. Many thanks Gregkaye (talk) 06:13, 15 July 2014 (UTC) w:en:User_talk:Gregkaye[reply]
