How can Yoshi's Island be so obscure when it was successfully re-released as "Super Mario Advance 3"? Marcus2 11:50, 14 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Being a mainline Mario game, of course it's still well-known compared to a title by a no-name company. Still, it's less well-known than any of Mario 1, 2 US, 3, Mario Land, Mario World 1, Mario 64, Mario Sunshine and Paper Mario. --Redquark 23:10, 16 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Hi Redquark,

I see you photoshopped Image:Ireland-High-Cross.jpg. Unfortunately, the version you started with wasn't the highest resolution available. Would you be willing to do your magic again on the higher resolution version? See the second version in the "image history" at Commons:Image:Ireland-High-Cross.jpg for the original. Also see Commons:Image talk:Ireland-High-Cross.jpg.

Thanks! dbenbenn | talk 00:36, 21 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Snickerdoodles![edit]

Hey Redquark! That was a great cleanup on Snickerdoodle. It looks much better now. Joyous | Talk 21:30, 12 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Talk:Main Page nonsense?[edit]

That wasn't nonsense, it was lyrics from a Final Fantasy VIII song. It's written in Latin. Anyway, it didn't belong there, but it wasn't nonsense :-P 04:45, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

You recently failed this GA nomination but neglected to remove it from the nominations page or change the template to {failedGA}. Please read through the whole list (it was designed for simplicity!) before passing or failing articles in the future. I don't mean to rag on you because I've made the same mistake but I do want to emphasize the importance of it to the people who work hard on these articles. savidan(talk) (e@) 10:00, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, it looks like you changed the template but just didn't remove it from the list. I'll take care of that for you. savidan(talk) (e@) 10:01, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I thought there was only a list for successful GAs, not nominations. I'll keep that in mind. Redquark 12:27, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding the Featured picture i uploaded[edit]

UK Roundabout 8 Cars.gif[edit]

The artwork is NOT from Grand Theft Auto. I drew the cars myself, and haven't even played GTA. But if you think they're ugly, feel free to redraw the image. Fredrik Johansson 07:20, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Mario3 crushed goomba.png)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Mario3 crushed goomba.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 01:42, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Placeholder images[edit]

You were involved in the discussion of the "no free image" placeholders. Can you comment here? — Omegatron 08:14, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that you have revised either Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri or Sid Meier's Alien Crossfire.

I intend to revise those articles following the Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Article guidelines. There are more details on the discussion pages of those articles. I'd be interested in any comments you have. It would be best if your comments were on the discussion pages of the two articles.

Thank you.
