Civility

Hello. Completely agree with your stance on the whole pop-culture trivia thing, but try to keep it WP:CIVIL - if your only apparent argument against the trivia is that you're being sarcastic and abusive, then the trivia fans only have to be sarcastic and abusive back at you to feel that they can re-add the content. Slap them down with WP:TRIVIA or WP:IINFO.

Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to War in Darfur, without explaining the valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Try to be more Zen. Sometimes doing nothing is better than doing something (see Wikipedia:Handling_trivia#Practical_steps #7). I've looked at your recent edits. Many of the trivia items you've removed were rightfully eliminated, as they had nothing to do with the article in question. Not so in this case. The list of items is very much about popular perception of competitive eating and its presentation in various media. Although it is presented as a list, much or most of the material could reasonably be worked into prose format, or (possibly) coverted to a List in its own right.
