The original edition for band bears the copyright date of 1888. The manuscript of this march is housed at the University of Illinois. United States Copyright MUSIC law gave it an initial duration of 23 years and an equal 23 year renewal period. Therefore, Semper Fidelis in its original musical form(s) for Piano solo, military band, orchestra, became public domain in the USA in 1944. The original copyright holder of the PUBLISHED editions was Harry Coleman, Philadelphia. That firm was subsequently absorbed by Carl Fischer, Inc.New York. Eschew obfuscation

Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article Eschew obfuscation, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Heritage of the March

Hello SousaFan88. I recently created an article for the Heritage of the March series. Your profile came up in Google searches while I researched the article, so I was wondering if you might be able to add your knowledge to the article. Since you own many of the LPs, you could add a list of the composers and performers either in the main article or as a separate list. Any interesting information from the albums' linear notes would also be nice.

PS. I am also a march collector, although my 700 marches don't quite compare to your thousands. Aside from locating copies of the HOTM series, do you know any great CDs/LPs you would recommend for building a collection?
