Getting Psychotherapy into This Week's Improvement Drive[edit]

Hi there! I noticed that you contribute a lot to Transpersonal psychology, and I thought you might care to help out the Psychotherapy article. As it stands this article could use a lot of help, and thus I've taken the liberty of trying to get it to be the focus of a week's improvement drive. All we need to get it for a week's worth of focus and improvement is enough votes, so go to Psychotherapy's vote page and help out this very needing article! Parapsychology Article Rewrite[edit]

Hi, I'm working on a rewrite of the parapsychology article in my Sandbox. I invite your input generally, and specifically on a small section I would like to include on transpersonal psychology's approaches to parapsychological topics. We'd appreciate your help. --Annalisa Ventola (Talk | Contribs) 05:07, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's 7 years later, and we need to get in touch with the arbitration committee about revision. I would value your input. 69.14.156.143 (talk) 19:14, 1 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there. I've taken a look at the article and it seems very well-developed. The article on Transpersonal Psychology is under revision, and I hope to make some contributions to it in the time to come. I don't know if I have time to prepare a segment for The Parapsychology article in the immediate future, but I will be looking into the matter.--Hawol (talk) 11:09, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Question on Notability[edit]

I was very impressed with your contributions and comments on Transpersonal Psychology and wonder if you could advise me on helping an article I've created to meet Wiki's notability and documentation requirements. Karen Mehringer is a published author, public speaker, and licensed therapist whose approach is based on TP. Would appreciate any comment and/or advice you can offer with regard to content, formatting, or documentation. Thanks! ----User:Namekal —Preceding undated comment was added at 07:29, 17 January 2009 (UTC).[reply]

Kundalini Yoga[edit]

Hello, I have noticed you have made multiple edits to the Kundalini Yoga. There are several problems. You tried to integrate newly added contents, however this contents is all from the same book and uses the same source and thus the same citation. There is no need for multiple citations. It is one book, 3 pages and I added short summary. Another thing is this: You can not mix Western views with original Hindu interpretations. Kundalini Yoga came from Hinduism and is part of a religion. In this sense, you have to leave the interpretation to those who produced it. It would be my suggestion to organize the article in three topics: Definition (according to Hindusim). History (according to yoga and Hinduism) and "Western expiriences".

Currently there are sources of high value and sources of no value mixed together in formless blend. I have undone your edits (temporarily), because you do not have the book sources used to add much of the quality original contents.

It is true however that the article is a mess and I have not yet found a way to properly link this together because the source quality varies so much and I dont want to excluded people and would like to keep as much as contents available in some form. Atmapuri (talk) 16:59, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The new edits are better, however I would still rather see a Hindu Guru's making the definition, rather than some English scholar. There is still sourced and unsourced material mixed together. The "views" are also emphasized too much. In Yoga and Hindusim there are clear definitions for Kundalini, but you wont find many sources in the west because the techniques are not public and because recognized Hindu Gurus are not properly recognized as reliable sources on Hinduism in the west. Maybe a good way would be to take a look at the teachings of Paramhans Yogananda and his Kriya Yoga to find more confirmation and more cross reference.

Another thing is that there are psychiatric hospitals full of schizophrenic patients who tried this on their own. I think the warnings belong in the main header. If you make the article too neutral from that point of view, you could be contributing to such cases. (not to mention your own Karma)Atmapuri (talk) 06:30, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your answer on my user-page. I included the primary sources you gave me into the article, but I have problems to find the secondary sources, you suggested to include in the article. Wega14 (talk) 12:21, 8 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Missouri Medicine moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Missouri Medicine, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's notability guideline for journals and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ––FormalDude talk 02:10, 9 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
