Sentence fragment[edit]

The sentence "The city is also famous for its factory where the Edict of Nantes." does not make sense!

Did someone make a mistake during a previous edit?

Classical Literature Reference Omitted?[edit]

Saumur is the setting of the classic novel "Eugénie Grandet" by Honoré de Balzac. While this is not necessarily germane to the history of Saumur, I think that it's of enough cultural significance for a mention. Djeheuty (talk) 02:22, 20 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
