Leningrad State University - it is better to redirect, I think. Universities do change their names historically. Charles Matthews 17:09, 26 Oct 2004 (UTC)

citing sources[edit]

Would the people who created/edited this article (or anyone else who has access to the relevant information) please add source citations for the biographical info mentioned in the article, as per WP:CITE and WP:BLP? Thanks, Nsk92 18:33, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is this vandalism?[edit]

His children are listed as Boris Badnetov and Natasha Zelmanov. Now, Boris Badnetov is also the name of the villian in Rocky and Bulwinkle. Boris's female partner is named Natasha. I'm pretty sure that Badnetov is not a real Russian name (it's a pun on "bad enough"). However, this edit is quite old, so I'm loathe to remove it without some more evidence. What do people think? 24.41.28.114 (talk) 04:42, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No one has responded for a couple of days, so I'm just going to go ahead and make the indicated change. 24.41.28.114 (talk) 05:33, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Professor Zelmanov's current affiliation[edit]

Hi,Does anybody know what's current affiliation of professor Zelmanov?According to Scopus data base,he's now affiliated with King Abdulaziz university.here's the link:http://ezproxy.iliauni.edu.ge:2581/authid/detail.uri?origin=resultslist&authorId=6603099952&zone= Rezameyqani (talk) 13:37, 21 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Zelmanov is a Professor at UCSD and has been there for quite a while, https://www.math.ucsd.edu/people/faculty/Efim-Zelmanov/ The Scopus page you linked above is incorrect - he might have been a visitor at King Abdulaziz university, or maybe has some sort of an honorary adjunct type status there, but his primary affiliation is at San Diego.
