HMCS RENOUS[edit]

Can anyone verify that HMCS RENOUS was the same property as CFB Chatham? I'm 99 per cent sure that HMCS RENOUS referred to an ammunition depot at Renous, south of Chatham, and now the site of a penitentiary. Z57N (talk) 02:00, 19 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Corrections[edit]

Corrected HMCS Mill Cove to read CFS Mill Cove which was stood up (officially) after unification. It now exists as NRS (Naval Radio Station) Mill Cove, at Base Halifax, as the communications centre for the East Coast Fleet. The site at Mill Cove NS exists as a receive antennae site only, with no permanent staff.

Corrected HMCS Esquimalt to HMCS Naden. Esquimalt was the name of the town in which NADEN resides. The ship, HMCS ESQUIMALT was sunk in World War Two.
