Possible source[edit]

http://hechingerreport.org/universities-colleges-struggle-stem-big-drops-enrollment/ talks about the university's efforts to remain competitive as enrollment in U.S. universities declines. WhisperToMe (talk) 18:43, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Quality of this page[edit]

Looking briefly over this page, I have to say that was able to guess fairly quickly that this became a featured article a fairly long while ago, before standards were as high. I spot a variety of issues, including a short lead that places undue emphasis on rankings, poor image layout (sandwiching in some places and inadequate illustration in others), and prose issues like WP:ANNOUNCED for Jones' inauguration. I think it might be time to open up a featured article review to hopefully get this page up to 2020 FA standards; otherwise it may have to be delisted. {{u|Sdkb}}talk 12:43, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sdkb that is an interesting FAC; it says I was part of the Guild of Copyeditors (??) and credits me for helping a lot although I never weighed in on the FAC. If I was ever part of the GOCE, that has escaped my memory! Are you going to nominate this at FAR, or should I? There has been no improvement, and its main writer has been gone for ten years. SandyGeorgia, feel free to nominate it; I mostly just wanted to flag the issue, and I'll leave the rest of the process to those more familiar with the FA area. {{u|Sdkb}}talk 07:32, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
