General[edit]

Commented out the photo from the Eiffel Tower because it doesn't fit on the page (the article is too short), and because the Montparnasse Tower is very hard to see in the image. — Agateller 09:36, 18 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's "Bienvenüe" with a "ü" because it's named for Fulgence B., chief engineer in the early days of the metro. -- Tarquin 19:37 Sep 10, 2002 (UTC)

This article needs a picture of the building! Wikipedia already has a photo [[1]] that would be a good start. I'd add it myself but I don't know enough about Wikipedia page layout and adding images to do it right. Someone please do it. Thanks!

It seems like Tour AXA already surpassed Tour M in height - it was finished in the 70s? I don't think they are adding to it. That comment merits revision.

"The design of the tower predates architectural trends that placed high importance on a view of the outside, and so only offices around the perimeter of each floor have windows (more modern skyscrapers are often designed to provide a window for every office)."

Does this actually make any sense? Even in a modern skyscraper, presumably only those rooms on the perimeter of a given floor will have windows with views of the outside. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.114.185.124 (talk) 20:01, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Criticism of Montparnasse Tower[edit]

While many Parisians dislike the obtrusive Montparnasse Tower, some have made the best of it by saying that it is "the box that the Eiffel Tower came in!" Buz Atlanta (talk) 16:43, 4 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Panorama caption dubious[edit]

The caption for the panorama has "This is a panorama of Paris from Tour Montparnasse facing northwest". But isn't that Montmartre near the left side? That would make the direction North to North East. -84user (talk) 10:57, 16 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
