Didn't Gary Hug invent an asteroid or two back in the 50's?

(1) No. (2) One doesn't "invent" asteroids, one discovers them. (3) Please sign your posts. — Vindemiatrix (talk) 16:32, 29 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

List of Asteroids discovered[edit]

I copied the list in from Graham E. Bell and discarded those which were not joint discoveries. It is entirely likely that there are more that Gary Hug discovered working on his own, or with someone other than Bell, so this list is possibly incomplete. At 2013's end, Gary Hug has discovered or co-discovered something like 600 asteroids. All asteroids discoveries by his private Sandlot Observatory (IAU H36) would be his alone, so if you have a way to query for those (I don't), that would largely complete his list. Thanks. — Vindemiatrix (talk) 16:28, 29 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
