If there is a much more important Peter Gay at Yale, please tell us exactly how much more important. Is he very, very much more important or just very much more important? Possibly, he is merely more important. Is there some objective scale of value by which we can measure this importance? Training in psychoanalysis[edit]

formerly "Other Education". At the same time I have grouped obsolete old Talk as "old" -P64

Peter Gay also attended a school in Connecticut for the training of non-medically-educated persons in psychoanalysis after he became a history professor at Yale. Judaism-related?[edit]

Hello - I would be grateful if someone could clarify this article's categorization. For all Peter Gay is Jewish, does that suffice for this article (and by extension his person and work) to be considered Judaism-related? I am extremely surprised to see it put this way. My observation is that "there ain't no stoppin' us" proliferators of categories ethnic (Category: Jewish..., Irish-American...), regional (Category: People from...), scholastic(?) The Enlightenment revised[edit]

Here Peter Gay#Books we list a 1995 revised edition of volume 1. Age of Enlightenment#Further reading also lists a 1995 revised ed. of volume 2. Perhaps it was a second edition of all three volumes at once, a reissue of the trilogy.
