Completely revised article[edit]

This appears to have been (badly) translated from some language. I can't work out what it is about, otherwise I would have a go at putting it into better english.

It looks like a - really, really bad - translation from Dutch. I will try to improve the translation, but won't make any alterations, because I don't know much of this subject. –Goingin 15:10, 8 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I tried to just correct the translation of the previous version, but it was just so bad, I just revised the entire article. It contains the basic information of the Dutch Mission, and I think it's much, much better now. –Goingin 16:14, 8 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose Dutch mission would be Dutch preachers somewhere anywhere, there must be a more accurate name. "The Holland Mission or Dutch Mission (Dutch: Hollandse Zending or Hollandse Missie) (1592 – 1853) was the common name of a Catholic Church missionary district in the Low Countries during and after the Protestant Reformation." ...some more thought please. • Oppose. Although I don't see why it isn't called Holland Mission (which redirects to it). And it's a proper name, so the capitalisation is fine. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:19, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
