Speculatory category that contained only one article (on the alleged 2010 The Hobbit movie) that is currently on VfD with consensus leaning heavily towards deletion. Radiant_* 12:09, Apr 4, 2005 (UTC)
- Delete. The anonymous user who created this category seems convinced this movie will be released on December 1, 2010, too. I just had to delete a reference to this in the year article for 2010. - For an article, certainly. For a category, no - if a category has only one or two entries, then it shouldn't exist. Radiant_* 07:51, Apr 5, 2005 (UTC)
- I agree that categories with 1 or two articles are unfortunate and unfortunately more common than desired. However, this particular category is certain to grow, no question of that, so it is merely a matter of timing. When is early too early? Hmm, that actually brings me to voting. - Keep per comments immediately above. I do not support creation of categories just because they might be needed, but if there is an article or two that can fit in a category that is certain to grow, there's little harm in including that category, in my opinion. Courtland 03:27, 2005 Apr 6 (UTC)

- Delete—too far ahead to be reliable enough for documentation. I don't think we should trust anything farther ahead than the next calendar year. Postdlf 16:42, 5 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Merge all future year-release categories into Category: Films yet to be released or similar. Assuming this movie is going to be made it will presumably be released sometime. Grutness|hello?
