Scroll Lock[edit]

Hi Bavi. Did you read what I wrote at Talk:Scroll lock? I think you're right; want to edit the page? Tenbaset 01:01 Apr 16, 2003 (UTC)

Yes. I saw your comment. I want to edit the page, but am currently bogged down by schoolwork. I started a rough draft on my computer but found writing it clearly harder than I thought. In about a week I should be done with this really stressful school project and will try writing something. Bavi H 06:35 Apr 29, 2003 (UTC)
...My current motivation is that the information about the original purpose of scroll lock be correct. I'm pretty sure the screen pausing function was not the intented reason for the key, but I want to satisfy myself by finding information from a manual or something. If you want to write the article, go ahead. Maybe I'll add a quote from the manual or something if I find it... Bavi H
...I went ahead and changed the article. (I was procrastinating that school project anyway.) I may still try to find a manual refrence just for my satisfaction. Bavi H 12:46 Apr 29, 2003 (UTC)
Sorry, I didn't see your comments here until just now! Don't worry too much, and, yes, it is hard to make a coherent structured entry from accumlated unstrctured knowledge. And, you're right, this is one thing that's hard to find out what the story is. If only I had a manual.. Tenbaset 01:27 May 2, 2003 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading the music for Image:Lead Sheet.jpg! --Ye Olde Luke (talk) 23:47, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Removed barnstar. I had fun using my music theory knowledge to make a very simple MIDI file and sharing it; I really didn't care about a barnstar. Since the MIDI file wasn't a contribution to Wikipedia, I feel the barnstar was undeserved and have removed it. --Bavi H (talk) 02:43, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oh ! man you had me... (Re: Screensize)[edit]

I followed you and got trapped ! Now what's the solution how do I take my IE settings back to normal ?  Jon Ascton  (talk) 18:09, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize. I've posted a reply on the Computing Reference Desk: S.O.S. --Bavi H (talk) 23:59, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Bavi, please read this
I followed your instructions to the word, but the problem is still the same -- Jon Ascton  (talk) 21:02, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I replied on the Computing Reference Desk. I read the Computing Reference Desk once a day, so we can continue there. --Bavi H (talk) 00:53, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! (Re: QAM vs ATSC tuner)[edit]

Thanks Bavi for your detailed response to my question regarding antenna reception of digital channels off the air. 174.95.168.3 (talk) 22:58, 20 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome. I hope the US information I'm familiar with isn't too different for you in Canada. --Bavi H (talk) 05:17, 22 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi and Thanks (Re: Web-page problem)[edit]

For reply at my question as you said The code of the page may have different parameters for the button every time you view the page from the server (for example, the button may have a different time stamp or session number each time). When you save the page on your hard drive and use it again later, the saved parameters may now be out of date. - that, man, seems to be the reason. Now, how can we do something about it...124.253.135.225 (talk)

One important thing I forgot to tell you is that target page (on the server) is a .jsp page — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.253.135.225 (talk) 16:21, 16 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
We don't have enough information to tell what's causing the button not to work from the page on your hard drive. Would you be comfortable saying where the button is? If not, perhaps you can describe what the button does or describe some of the HTML code the button uses? I read the Computing Reference Desk once a day. We can continue there, and other people may also be able to help. --Bavi H (talk) 02:14, 17 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

key[edit]

I think this key is between F major and G-flat major. 198.105.124.127 (talk) 01:19, 3 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You are right. The information I said tells the amount between F major and Gb major. I added more information to explain better. See Reference desk/Entertainment - key. --Bavi H (talk) 02:17, 3 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

These 3 songs are in this key too. This key don't exist in Wikipedia. 198.105.124.127 (talk) 02:10, 4 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

key[edit]

Does this key is between D minor and E-flat minor ? 198.105.98.184 (talk) 01:32, 12 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It sounds like it's in A = 440 Hz tuning, so it's not "between" pitches like your previous question.
You could say it's E flat minor. It seems to mainly use the black keys of the piano, and the home tone is E flat, so you might call it a pentatonic scale (see black-key pentatonic scales of the piano).
I'm not an expert, music is a hobby for me. Feel free to ask questions on the Reference Desk to get discussion from other people. --Bavi H (talk) 01:54, 14 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
