Article Cleanup[edit]

I've got the article into good shape. If you add to it, please try to adhere to the Wikistandards, I don't really plan on adopting the article, but since I grew up in Nashville, I'd like to see the town get a fair shot at clean info. Thanks a lot. Morgaledh 05:49, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've done a LOT of work on the page in the last week or so, including citations for settlement, railroad, peaches info etc., and cleaned up all the notes. I also added headers and reorganized some of the sections to make them more accessible. Morgaledh (talk) 19:45, 21 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Nashville logo.jpg[edit]

Image:Nashville logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Railroad Info[edit]

Thanks for adding that material. It is rather a mess, though, and doesn't follow the format of the rest of the article. Would you like to clean it up, or shall I? Morgaledh 03:39, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Modifications[edit]

I made some grammatical modifications and put some internet reference sources in. I grew up in Nashville, as well, and remember a lot of stuff from grade school about the history, but I'm at a loss to find sources. Will post as I find them. --Eddylyons (talk) 20:55, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
