Untitled[edit]

For those who might be interested, I met a Historian-Writer-Researcher in Moscow a couple of years ago who recently published a biographical book on Pyotr Nicolayevitch, General Wrangel, who became Commander-in-Chief of the White Russian Armies toward the end of the Bolchevic revolution.

His book is titled (in Russian), Генерал П. Н. Врангель. Последний рыцарь Российской империи it means General P.N.Wrangel. Last Knight of Russian Empire thats it: http://www.books.ru/shop/books/263350

ISBN 5-9524-0490-1

It is hard to imagine you would find it on Amazon.com or Barnes&Noble. You would have to get in touch with the main bookstores in Moscow. In any case, I have relatives and friends in Moscow who are able to obtain a copy of the book.

I would be interested in finding a copy of the book, as I am his great-grandson by his youngest daughter Natalie (my grandmother). Assuming any are interested there is a biography of my great-grandfather that is available in English that was written by my great-uncle Alexis. It is entitled General Wrangel, Russia's White Crusader and can be found and purchased on Amazon, along with my great-grandfather's memoirs.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.210.224.178 (talkcontribs)

This article does not mention him working with Ahmet Zogu and the Triumph of Legality in Albania in 1925. ChilternGiant (talk) 23:12, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Citations[edit]

There is a mix of citation styles. As per WP:CITEVAR, I will convert them to citation templates.

There are three unlinked shortened footnotes. I will put their full citations in {{cite book}} format & link the shortened footnotes. Peaceray (talk) 20:25, 8 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Needs attention to include additional inline citations[edit]

This is listed as a level-5 vital article, & of high-importance to WikiProject Russia. There are three on-line citations in the Sources section that are not used for shortened footnotes & another two that could be used in the Further reading section. For WikiProject Military History, the only thing lacking to make it a B-class article is that the reference & citation criteria needs to be met.

One of my specialities is improving citations & making them ready for shortened footnotes. I have done that. However, the subject matter is "not in my wheelhouse". Perhaps this topic is something that you can take on & improve. Peaceray (talk) 04:52, 9 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
