Improvements needed[edit]

The current single entry (apparently from 26 may 04) for Robert Onstein is not neutral, and rather seems to be just an opinion of its poster. To wit, the use of "manipulation" and "prank or a troll" are personal opinions or judgments, and do not provide useful information to a Wikipedia reader.

A better Robert Ornstein definition would include: Teacher and resarch psychologist at UC Medical Center, S.F., author of many books including The Psychology of Consciousness (1972). Beginnersview 18:40, 27 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Done Somewhat belatedly, I've done that; added to and reorganized the article. Esowteric+Talk 11:09, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Early life and personal bio[edit]

It looks like Ornstein is keeping most of his personal bio under his hat, and we should respect that.

However, I have found reliable sources for birth year and birth place. LibraryThing does give a birth day and month, but this is not a reliable source and my feeling is that if Ornstein wanted this detail to be known, then we'd be able to find it in a reliable source.

It's also possible that he's now married to Sally Mallam, but the same applies: there is no mention of this in reliable sources, and I don't feel that it is right to use California State or Ancestry.com records to obtain details (apart from the fact that you have to pay a search fee or take out a paid subscription).
