2005[edit]

I think these subcategories were better under the general "Newspapers" category. It was easier to sort newly added articles that way. Maurreen 06:51, 14 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Mixes up "by country", "by language", by politicial affiliation etc though if everything is packed together? VivaEmilyDavies 04:16, 13 Apr 2005 (UTC)

better use "Newspapers of Foo" or "Newspapers in Foo" for the subcategories. Most other cats go this way. Use noun, not adjective. What is German newspapers? Papaers from Germany or german speaking? Tobias Conradi (Talk) 05:18, 26 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Stub sorting[edit]

Somebody with bot status should add the country as a sorting key to subcategoris of this category (if not already done), so that the category links look like this: [[Category:Newspapers published in XXXX|XXXX]] Andreas ^(T) 13:12, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect alphabetizing[edit]

I would fix this if I knew how, but I don't. It appears that all of the nations that start with "the" have their listings under the N’s, and not under their proper letter. — Michael J 16:43, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
