COVID-19 pandemic[edit]

Greetings.

I had cleaned up the mention of the town's noteworthiness to the COVID-19 pandemic in the history section. In addition to the New York metropolitan area, Detroit and New Orleans, Albany was one of the first big COVID-19 outbreaks in the United States, ironic considering its relatively small size and isolation in the Deep South. I think this needs to be preserved for posterity on its Wikipedia page so that the history isn't forgotten. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:240:CD08:593A:8D5A:ADA7:DFA1:606C (talk) 02:12, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've thought this for years, though I don't really know much about editing Wikipedia. There's reporting from the Associated Press and New York Times about it. 2600:1700:B5B0:C070:249A:7F52:BFDB:F521 (talk) 02:17, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
