Calvin and Hobbes[edit]

A few strips of the late great Calvin and Hobbes comic strip mention a "spaghetti incident". Could that have anything to do with this title? -- Jwwalker 08:00, 23 Mar 2005 (UTC)

No, it has to do with an incident with old drummer Steven Adler, I'm not going to get into it.

I think it was a "noodle incident" that was mentioned in Calvin & Hobbes, not a "spaghetti incident". But yeah, I'd also wondered if the two were related. BACON 04:28, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

1972[edit]

The album's songs are cover versions of punk and rock songs of the late '70s and early '80s, with the exception of the album's first track...

Buick Mackane (they spelt it wrong!) was recorded in 1972 (they got that wrong too- the sleeve says it was recorded in 1973!).

Fifth studio album[edit]

Album title[edit]

While Matt Sorum and Adler have alluded to some hokey "spaghetti fight" as the reason for the album title, I think it has more to do with an old story re: groupies and members of Motley Crue; the members of the Gunners simply didn't want to repeat the gross story/inside joke to the dumb media... see http://www.nypost.com/seven/02252008/gossip/pagesix/now_thats_enough_to_make_you_sick_99206.htm It's a pretty well-documented story. "The Spaghetti Incident?" → The Spaghetti Incident? — Quotation marks should not be used as per WP:NAME. Just because they appear on the album's cover doesn't mean they are necessary in the article's title. Weak Oppose. Although some Wikipedians might say otherwise, I believe this article should have quotes since members of Guns N' Roses have explicitly said this is the title. The fact that quotes appear on the album cover is not why the article's name contains quotes. As the articles says, during a discussion between Axl Rose, Slash and the album's cover designer, in the "Making of Estranged" video, it is made clear that the correct form of the title is within quotation marks and with a question mark. Thus the quotation marks should be used. See Bob Dylan's "Love and Theft" and David Bowie's "Heroes", for other examples of artists using quotation marks in their album titles. — Travelling Tragition ^(Talk) 05:39, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The code on the bottom section of the cover.[edit]

It is written in the Zodiac code, translates to: FUCK EM ALL. Decrypted by a member of mygnrforum.com on 11/11/08. It took 15 years to figure out.

Leadvocals column[edit]

I think it would be nice if someone would make a "Leadvocals" column in the tracklisting, Since this album has variating lead vocals. Unfortunately i dont know how to do this. If someone does, please do it.

If someone knows how to do it, but dont know who sings lead vocals on which song, the sleve says:
