images of Xanadu, probably fair-use?

All NASA images are Public Domain. The Singing Badger 13:28, 27 Oct 2004 (UTC)

"The shape of the boundary suggests that the dark material embays the bright terrain." ... Embays? What's that mean? Caspian 01:53, 22 Jan 2006 (EST)

My guess would be "forms bays in", in the same way that water forms bays in the shorelines of land. Don't know for sure, though. Bryan 07:58, 22 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Merriam-Webster: embay: to trap or catch in or as if in a bay (an embayed sailing ship).--Jyril 13:53, 22 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Bah. One-upping my wild guess with an actual reference. At least I got close. :) Bryan 20:06, 22 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Xanadu official[edit]

It seems that Xanadu Regio has been named officially as an albedo feature named Xanadu (not Xanadu Regio). [1] --Jyril 16:58, Mar 20, 2005 (UTC)

We should probably mention that it was "commonly called Xanadu Regio", though, or wave after wave of new editors will stop by to "fix" the omission. :) Bryan 18:31, 20 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Updated Cassini discoveries[edit]

On July 19th, an article was published on Space.com detailing radar imaging of Xanadu. I tacked the information onto the end of the article - not sure where else to put it.Ingres77 18:01, 20 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
