I have some tips for you: Wikipedia is not a dictionary firstly, so the Algorithms (definition) page you created is not appropriate for that reason, and secondly, you've copied that from some other site, so you don't own the copyrights and can't post that material. See Wikipedia:Copyrights.

However, don't be discouraged from contributing... take a look at some of the other pages to see the gist of how things go around here. Thanks Dysprosia 08:42, 6 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not reinsert material copied from other sites. If you do not own the copyrights to the material you cannot post that material. See Wikipedia:Copyrights. Thanks Dysprosia 10:17, 6 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Also, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Nuance looks very much like an advertisement. The page will probably end up being deleted or heavily edited. Again, don't let that stop you contributing. DJ Clayworth 16:02, 7 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I've just been browsing through some of your newly created pages - for example Nuance, Speech Works and Free Speech (Philips). There's lots of information there, but I have to confess I found it hard to understand just what the things the article described were. Perhaps some sort of opening statement would help, for example:

Nuance is a commercial company who produce speech recognition software.

You could then go on to describe when they were formed, where they are based, and what they've done or produced that makes them notable enough to end up in an encyclopedia.

For a good example have a look at other pages describing companies: IBM, Ford Motor Company or GlaxoSmithKline.

What you did at Phillips is vandalism. If you do that again, you will be blocked from editing. RickK 20:31, 9 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. If you insert one more copyvio Wikispam article without discussing it here, you will be blocked from editing. RickK 21:58, 9 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
