- Do we really want a comprehensive list?

- I think that an island that is worth mentioning is also worth a note about its location. Otherwise there will numerous (read: hundreds of) Prästös, Björkös etc. with no useful information at all to those entries. Kosebamse 19:23 Feb 10, 2003 (UTC)

Nothing about that here or in Swedish article, but Finnish one says there are 221831 islands in Sweden. And, it also has a source. 82.141.118.6 (talk) 17:44, 8 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
