The meaning of Entei[edit]

I am sure that the meaning of en means flame (炎) and tei means emperor (帝). Well it's just such simple meaning. Like suicune means water monarch and raikou means thunder lord. Entei means flame emperor. So please do not edit it. --Lugiadoom 03:53, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think the Inti reference is worth mentioning too. Crazedgiggles 20:15, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

but the inuyasha entei page says that entei means flame hoof??

flame hoof...(i am a chinese) i think they have translated it wrongly into 炎蹄....... Lugiadoom 10:15, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Might it has somthing to do with Eihei (Eihei-ji) a monasterie in Fukui City? (I just saw that the name was alike)

Sugimori art[edit]

Do you think the Sugimori art on the Entei, Raikou, and Suicune articles could be replaced with the newer, better-looking (in my opinion) Sugimori art from Mystery Dungeon? Just a suggestion. -- ~PinkDeoxys~ 22:45, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
