Swanee Whistle[edit]
Is a swanee whistle the same as a slide whistle? -phma
- possibly. sounds about right. No article on the swanee whistle would be complete without a mention of the game of Swanee-Kazoo, as played on I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue -- Tarquin 23:55 Sep 30, 2002 (UTC)
- I'm almost sure that they are indeed the same thing - to my surprise, however, Google reckons "slide" is far more common than "swanee", so I'll tweak the article to reflect this. --Camembert
