The "Career" section begins with Hollywood. Everything before that - vaudeville and Broadway - is under "Early Life." The lead, too, only mentions movies and TV specifically. All that should be under "Career." Groucho was 39 when he made his first movie, and had already been in show business for 24 years. That's longer than the Marx Brothers entire film career. I'm going to move that information to "Career." Carlo (talk) 03:21, 23 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I'm watching the PBS show about Dick Cavett and Groucho
and a lot of the things that today's late night TV hosts do, like Colbert and Kimmel, do, these things are copied straight from Groucho (who no doubt copied them in teh 1920s from burlesque and variety shows)
eg that thing Kimmel does with an Hispanic guy who is nominally part of the crew ?
Groucho was doing the same schtick on cavett, in 1969 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:197:D00:3CA0:A181:CDB6:5351:A14D (talk) 02:05, 15 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
