Elfhost, The; The Elfhost is a position within the elven nation extant since 1972. It was created by a gathering of elves at the Spring equinox at an undisclosed location it the High Desert of Southern California. Their purpose was to express their concerns and develope mechanisms to act on them.

Their concerns were as follows. 1. The vast majority of American elves have lost their identity as elves and suffer from issues associated with such loss. 2. The lack of rational mechanisms by which identity loss can be recovered.

They concluded their meeting having accomplished the following: 1. A mission statement. 2. They created the position of Elfhost and outlined his duties. 3. They created an organization called "The Western Institure of Strategic Planning", W.I.S.P. and outlined their duties. 4. They ordered the construction of an Elven encyclopedia.
