Spelling[edit]

Source for the correct spelling of his name Hitler's last testament In German: http://www.ne.jp/asahi/masa/private/history/ww2/text/politisches.html --Philip Baird Shearer 15:18, 12 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I did not find the name in the link given. However, the name is "Nicolaus" and the page name should be changed accordingly

Nicholaus/Nicolaus von Below is not listed on the above external link, AFAICT "Nicolaus von Below" is used significantly more often than "Nicholas von Below" or "Nicholaus von Below". Olessi 23:59, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Father?[edit]

Was he the son of either of the WW1 Generals called Von Below? Valetude (talk) 12:23, 27 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Message to Keitel[edit]

Perhaps an encyclopedia should at least mention the fact, that the guy denied that there has been a message to Keitel, cf. the German article... Mit Verlöff, mit Verlöff... --Terminally uncool (talk) 09:06, 20 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

As long as WP:RS cited, sure, it can be done. Kierzek (talk) 19:24, 20 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hitler's inner circle didn't change much[edit]

"Below, with the rank of colonel, was one of the few members of Hitler's entourage to continually serve in a close capacity for so many years."

Completely wrong. Hitler's inner circle didn't change much during the war - by and large, the adjutants, the secretaries and the manservants kept their jobs throughout the war, as did Jodl and Keitel in the OKW. All Hitler biographers note that he was averse to changes in his personal surroundings. (With the army leadership and the generals and field marshals it's another story, but these men did not "serve in a close capacity".)2A02:AA1:1612:5ECF:BD64:F37C:61E6:D2F9 (talk) 18:53, 18 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
