From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Eadmund (modernly Edmund) was a king of East Anglia who was slain by pagan raiders because he would not renounce Christ. He is thus considered a martyr; his feast is 20 November.

I translated his life when I was 16 or 17, as part of work I was doing at the University of Denver, and ever since I've been keen on the fellow. He was a great man, and a good king, and he ended well: who could ask for more?

I've interests in the Society for Creative Anachronism, (of course) history, Orthodoxy, role-play games, computer science and anything else which merits interest.

My personal page is at http://latakia.dyndns.org/~ruhl/; my blog is Octopodial Chrome; I also have a bunch of bachelor recipes.
