Untitled[edit]

This is pretty poor, but the content was put in Category:South Korean actors where it clearly doesn't belong. --VivaEmilyDavies 19:56, 2 Apr 2005 (UTC)

renaming[edit]

i am moving this article to List of Korean actors to be consistent with other korean art/culture lists. even though it will remain populated by only or mostly south koreans for the foreseeable future, it seems that other lists generally say "korea" for the sake of brevity, e.g., List of Korean Broadcasting networks - List of Korean ceramic artists and sculptors - List of Korean language films - List of Korean language poets - List of Korean musicians - List of Korean painters - List of Korean television shows. But language and nationality are very different concepts; also note that the broadcasting list has been moved to List of South Korean broadcasting networks. There is no particular reason *not* to have a general list of Korean actors, but then again there is no reason not to have a list of South Korean actors -- and that is what this list currently is. Since North Korea has an active cinema of its own, it is presumably only a matter of time before Category:North Korean actors begins to fill out and we can have a List of North Korean actors as well. -- Visviva 10:58, 14 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
