13th/30th[edit]

I've read every Wayside book at least five times, including the Arithmatic ones, and - quite oddly - they always refer to the class on the 30th story as the 13th story, without changing the fact that \

Neither lizards nor dragons are amphibians. -- Takwish 21:28, 13 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That's stupid. I'm deleting it. and even if they are, what difference does it make?

Thank you. Did you know that when Miss Franklin's name is reversed, it spells "Nilknarf"? -- Takwish 19:52, 14 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

So? 61.230.78.158 06:55, 29 June 2006 (UTC) Wow. 67.38.252.226 15:59, 1 August 2007 (UTC) GameMania[reply]

Book vs. Series[edit]

This article is about the series, whereas I thought it was supposed to be about the book? OneWeirdDude 15:28, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Isn't that the same? Dora Nichov 13:32, 30 October 2006 (UTC) What? 67.38.252.226 15:58, 1 August 2007 (UTC) GameMania[reply]

Well we have a Mrs. Jewls article[edit]

Why not one for all the students-there is a lot of info in the books.Mitchazenia(8300+edits) 01:06, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

But we have lots of info for some but not so much for others -- Sue for example. Dora Nichov 10:17, 3 January 2007 (UTC) ?! 67.38.252.226 16:10, 1 August 2007 (UTC) GameMania[reply]

goozack[edit]

The article says: "When the principal ran into the door of Mrs. Jewls classroom he said that the word "door" was a bad word" Didn't the principal run into the door of his office?Uncle uncle uncle 23:50, 14 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have checked my copy of "Wayside School Gets a Little Stranger", and the principal does run into his office door, not Mrs. Jewls classroom door.Uncle uncle uncle 04:15, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

HA HA HA! 67.38.252.226 15:56, 1 August 2007 (UTC) GameMania Yeah, it's his own door. Dora Nichov 09:02, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sideways Stories From Wayside School[edit]

Novels or collections?[edit]

In what sense are these books novels?

The introduction to the first one states, "This book contains thirty stories about the children and teachers at Wayside School. ... ... So there are thirty stories from the thirtieth story of Wayside School." (viewed at Amazon as "Look inside" the 1998 hardcover)

Kirkus Reviews covered the second one thus, "Thirty rib-tickling tales of Wayside School, where the classrooms are stacked one atop the other ..." (1898-02-15 posted 2010)

List of characters[edit]

The Wayside School series has a lot of characters, and I mean a lot. We're talking about almost thirty students all with equal roles, as well as all the staff, and characters like Hobo Bob and Jane Payne that aren't associated with the school at all. Trying to describe all of them briefly with one sentence is kind of messy, and I feel like this could warrant a page of its own. I'd like more opinions, but I feel that for a better understanding of this series, this may be the optimal movement. CompliensCreator (talk) 14:06, 30 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
