  • Delete I am from Jaffna, and I never knew about him - So were all the friends form Jaffna. He claims so. Regardless whether true or false, he is not notable in Jaffna. No one from Jaffna cares him. It seems that he keeps on giving interviews with the "King" claim, creating a webpage and till, we from Jaffna can't confirm any proof for his claims. --219.111.147.78 05:00, 12 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Jerry Remigius Kanagarajah was proposed for deletion. This page is an archive of the discussion about the proposed deletion. This page is no longer live. • He might actually be the copyright holder, considering he is employed by the organization (Vietnamese Constitutional Monarchist League that he writes about, placing such information there might be an implicit permission by the organization to GFDL. • Delete regardless. Two hits for "Jerry Remigius Kanagarajah", one for "Jerry Remegius Kanagarajah". So he's a descendent of nobility--I could find no evidence of notability on his own. My ancestors were noted enuf to have a medieval castle in Germany named for them, and my great grandfather was noted enuf in the settlement of Alaska that a large body of water there is named after him. Doesn't mean that I have inherited notability from either of them, tho'. Niteowlneils 11:13, 11 Sep 2004 (UTC)
    • Delete, now that you can't find any proof of notability. [[User:Poccil|Peter O. (Talk)]] 13:53, Sep 11, 2004 (UTC)

  • Keep. with the proviso that if it's a copyvio, delete with prejudice, as that would call into many of the edits made by this user. (see the RfC). The reason that I vote keep, is because I feel that current heirs of titles, especially major nobility, are in and of themselves notable. see all the 10000 entries on the various minor nobles in the peerage of the UK, Scotland, England, etc. Also see the article about Crown Prince Alexander II of Serbia and Yugoslavia, or the article about Grand Duchess Olga of Russia for examples of royals of families who are no longer in power. To echo the point that I want to make in the RfC, "If the infighting of the Romanov Clan could be said to be encyclopedic, I fail to see why a group working against the current governments of Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam is not." But again, if it's a copyvio, and if Hob's separate RfC turns out to be true, the user in question should be banned and this article deleted. -Vina 19:09, 13 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. Jimmyvanthach (overhaul on biography conducted to be neutral) was done by myself, I was contacted by Tran Van Ba on the issue of copyright and any possible non-neutral to edit it so there will be no issue, please look over my edits, there was a language barrier on his behalf.Jimmyvanthach
