Untitled[edit]

I got to this stub (2004-03-28) from www.fact-index.com/s/sa/ , picking the "San Antonio ..." item from the alphabetic list, and there was a similar article but not quite the same. The page credits wikipedia at the bottom. That version said San Antonio was a tiny village, which it is, in the Mojave Desert, which it's not ... but the question that comes up is why and how the fact-index.com version is out of date, and what mechanism might there be to sync up? The address webmaster@fact-index.com does not exist.

Check out the page history for the article (click on "View this article" then "Page history"). There are two edits. The first edit, which created the article, is the one at the bottom. If you click on the date, you will see the article as it was at that time, and it claimed that San Antonio was in the Mojave. The second edit fixed it. Presumably, fact-index ported the Wikipedia content between the edits. There is no way to fix their content from this site, all we can do is hope they will update their content soon. That's why Wikipedia is a better reference site than fact-index. Tuf-Kat 06:51, Mar 29, 2004 (UTC)
Any reason I shouldn't change the title, removing "territory", when I add some detail about San Antonio? (That's where I live) ;Bear 21:52, 2004 Mar 29 (UTC)
Sounds fine to me (Rambot should have made an article on San Antonio, New Mexico, but apparently did not). Be sure to use the "Move this page" function and not copy-and-paste. Tuf-Kat 23:35, Mar 29, 2004 (UTC)
