There are multiple types of video servers. For example, Panasonic makes a video server for television stations where you upload the video to it via FTP and it then outputs analog video for broadcast. JDA 04:25, 2004 Oct 19 (UTC).
There's a new video server out now[edit]
The newest video server is compatible with dynamic IP, so all users can use it. and it doesn't require any configurations or softwares. The video could be viewed from remote computers, PDAs, and mobile phones. There are a lot more functions with this new video server. Webguard 2007 Nov. 13
