Taking a deep breath...

  • the Australian city is Melbourne.
  • List of Melbourne bus routes, way down at the bottom, has a NightRider bus numbered 03 to Croydon. After some disambiguation, we see that...
  • Croydon, Victoria has a table showing what towns adjoin it - to the southeast is...
  • Montrose, Victoria, which "has a museum of the Australian author, May Gibbs, who created the Gumnut Babies." Fascinating I'm sure, but redlinked, so we won't stop in.
  • What links here? The disambig page Montrose, which mentions that a horse by that name won the Kentucky Derby in 1887.
  • Adding a year, the 1888 Kentucky Derby winner was Macbeth II - subtract two for Macbeth, definitely in Scotland.
  • Adaptations of the play Macbeth have set it in the ganglands of Chicago, New York and Mumbai.
  • Mumbai is located on Salsette Island, but if you can make that into a Wikipedia policy you're doing better than me. Instead, check out Geography of Mumbai, where it says that the island of Middle Ground lies to the east of Mumbai. The Middle Ground wikilink in the article actually links to Middle Ground Coastal Battery, a fortified gun emplacement. I'm not sure what that says about Wikipedia policy... but it does point out that Middle Ground is difficult to get to.

Correct! The wikipedia policy I was referring to, was NPOV. Eugene van der Pijll 12:00, 24 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Wow. I got as far as the Derby in my attempt to answer this and then couldn't figure out the rest. Very neat question. --Marnen Laibow-Koser (talk) 15:10, 2 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
