P.S. One last helpful hint. To sign your posts like I did above (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).

Verifiability[edit]

I don't doubt your good faith in making the edit to Saturation diving, but the source is pretty clear about the depths being 316 and 328 metres. Would you have a look at http://www.scubarec.com.br/index_arquivos/Historia.htm and see if your reading is the same as mine, please? Consider what would happen if another editor came along and claimed that he was present and the depth was 516 metres: how would we decide who was right? Wikipedia gets round that by only summarising reliable published sources, and there's a whole page called WP:Verifiability that explains how we support the text of an article by noting the published source that we got the information from. Do you have a published source that other readers could refer to, so that they could verify the accuracy of what you wrote? In the meantime, I'll change the text of Saturation diving back to agree with what the current source says. --RexxS (talk) 23:26, 6 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
