Pharaoh?[edit]

That unknown man is the Mayor, Tyrone. But there is a man in the town by the name of Ranzy Carmichael who is the town's self-proclaimed Pharaoh, and his group of friends are called the valley gods of the Arkansas River Valley. Artists?[edit]

It is a center of the arts, the town itself does a lot to promote them, they not only host the montly art walk, but they host a variety of music shows, poetry slams, and comedy routines. The local high school also has a dedicated fine-arts faculty and it's college is also boasts great accommodations for artists. --99.188.80.114 (talk) 03:30, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Error In Size of City in First Paragraph[edit]

Which reads "According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 26.0 square miles (67.2 km²), of which, 4605 square miles (67.2 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (0.08%) is water.[citation needed] It is located on the Arkansas River."

4605 square miles in a 26 square mile city are land.

Elevation[edit]

Although the "Encyclopedia of Arkansas History and Culture" shows an elevation of 354ft [3]. The only one that provides a specific location is the airport - ther other two sources could be a specific site (possibly a city hall), or an average for the overall city. I was searching the GNIS data at USGS.gov; it looks like the 354ft reading ties to both the post office and to the fire station.[4] Those are fine by me; although the readings for cite named "City of Russellville" is 364ft,[5] and the reading for populated place "Russellville" is 348ft.[6]

In all honesty, I'm fine with any of these being used - as long as the source of the used value is included as a ref. I have no link to the city; I saw a mention of the reverts on a user talk page, and started searching for refs as a mental exercise to see what would turn up.
