Performa 550[edit]

This part of the article is factually wrong about the optical drive. I actually still have a Performa 550, and the CD drive is a standard tray loading type, not a caddy type. This was not an upgrade as the front bezel is not compatible between the two types of drives (the caddy type would use a much smaller loading slot than the tray type).

This was me, and I fixed it just now, even including an uploaded image of the Performa 550 I have, because why not? :D Mondoshawan22 (talk) 16:41, 6 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

From Talk:Macintosh LC 575[edit]

IMO, this article should probably be at Macintosh LC 575 rather than Performa 575 or Quadra 575. Seeing as "LC 575" returns 13,800 hits on Google, "Performa 575" returns 12,530 hits on Google, and "Quadra 575" only receives about 700 hits. --KelisFan2K5 01:31, 16 Apr 2005 (UTC)

About the merge...[edit]

This page is built on a foundation that was at Macintosh LC 575. I chose that one because it had a longer history than Macintosh LC 580.
