let's see - this entry ignores the standard nomenclature that David Parker and JHKemp have so laboriously established for the middle ages (Svyatoslav of Kiev instead of Sviatoslav I, Prince of Kiev -- NAME #, TITLE), fails to capitalize words like "Christianity", and is willfully lifted from the Catholic Encyclopedia. I haven't even proofread for spacing, because I know that will be problematic. MichaelTinkler
