Welcome to Wikipedia![edit]

Hello Bjmurph, welcome to Wikipedia!

Here are some tips:

If you feel a change is needed, feel free to make it yourself! Wikipedia is a wiki, so anyone (yourself included) can edit any article by following the Edit this page link. Wikipedia convention is to be bold and not be afraid of making mistakes. If you're not sure how editing works, have a look at How to edit a page, or try out the Sandbox to test your editing skills.

If, for some reason, you are unable to fix a problem yourself, feel free to ask someone else to do it. Wikipedia has a vibrant community of contributors who have a wide range of skills and specialties, and many of them would be glad to help. As well as the wiki community pages there are IRC Channels, where you are more than welcome to ask for assistance.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page.

You might also want to check out the Australian Wikipedians Notice Board. Thanks, Alphax τεχ 13:45, 5 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Cricket is popular in every state and territory in Australia, Aussie rules is not! You're suggestion that Rugby Union may possibly be in #1 possition is extremely ill-informed. Rugby union ranks in about 5th place after cricket, Australian rules, Rugby League and Basketball.

Then again, how do you define 'Popular'? In terms of participation, netball beats every other sport in Australia. Does that make it more popular?

When Australia get's its arse kicked by a very minor team in the first round of the world cup that little piece of soccer hysteria will die. One match is my no means enough. Also, as, generally speaking, telivision viewership far outweigh's attentdance records, such records are meaningless in the context of overall popularity. My Username[edit]

Hi. In June last year my username User:Jebus Christ was blocked. I discovered recently that the admin responsible User:Secretlondon was involved in protecting the article relating to the prophet Muhammad images under the banner of freedom of speech. I personally find this hypocritical.

I've started a petition to get my username back. If you support this can you please sign my petition on my talk page User talk:Jebus Christ.
