Difference in early triplets[edit]
Is there any specialist in optics that can explain us what is the difference between the Cooke triplet and early achromatic triplets ? Ericd 12:37 Apr 21, 2003 (UTC)

Early designs?[edit]
Removed the unreferenced section "Early designs"[1] because it seems to be original research consisting of seeing an old Britannica article and implying it is the same lens. Fountains of Bryn Mawr (talk) 23:17, 12 December 2013 (UTC)
