Article Journal of Indian Association for Child and Adolescent Mental Health listed on WP:VFD Apr 30 to May 7 2004, consensus was to delete. Discussion:

  • Keep. Uncertain why this was listed. It may be a new project, but it seems serious enough: the website is real, the subject is worthy, the writing objective. Smerdis of Tlön 15:48, 30 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • I listed it, then had to leave before I had a chance to comment. I listed because two things stood out: "online journal" and "Expected launch July 2004." The first made me question whether it's a project of any importance, and the second made me question why it needs an article before it even exists. There are a massive number of peer-reviewed journals in existance, most of which don't have articles, and most of which probably don't need articles. Seems a little odd to have an article on a journal that doesn't even exist yet. Their website is still under construction, so I can't even check the credentials of the editors. • Delete. At best, pre-launch publicity of what is at least a semi-commercial venture. At worst, fraud. Hard to say, but either way, delete. Andrewa 20:38, 30 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete until they exist and have proven to be something other than a commercial entity. RickK 22:22, 30 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete - pre-launch publicity is not encyclopedic -- Cyrius|&#9998 04:00, May 1, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. I went to journal website and almost everything is still "under construction". Andris 04:20, May 1, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. An entity that doesn't even exist outside the planning stage doesn't belong in an encyclopedia. SPEEDY delete, IMO. - Lucky 6.9 23:39, 1 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
