[Untitled][edit]

The Word with God made all things which were made. There was life in the Word with God and this life was light which shone. A man named John bore witness of this light which was truely light. The light was in the world and those who received the light were given power to become people of God; that was those who believed on his name who were born of God.

It is written in John 1:4: 'In him (The Word) is life. This indicates a subject 'Life of The Word'. Perhaps the phrase 'Ords Livet' will carry this meaning.

Prosperity Gospel[edit]

"You cannot serve both God and money." Matthew 6:24

"No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money." Luke 16:13

In fact, these two verses as two witnesses speak better than tons of books written about prosperity Gospel. -- Mtodorov 69 13:45, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, sorry, but this page is for discussing the article Livets Ord, not the topic in itself, otherwise as for preparing the addition of neutral-in-tone text in the article. Those sources are primary, and secondary sources are required to be used in the article. Rursus dixit. (mbork3!) 09:13, 31 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect[edit]

I believe it is more accurate for Word of Life to provide the Word of Life Youth Ministry. an infobox could be provided there to link people to this page. if there are more than two articles that Word of Life could apply two, perhaps a disambiguation page is in order. --Master Runner 22:41, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Having looked a little more, it would appear that the infoboxes are already in place on both pages, and I believe it would be more logical to create a disambiguation page for both spellings of Word Of Life. I'll go ahead and do this in a few days if no one objects. this note will be left on both pages. --Master Runner 22:45, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How about renaming the Word Of Life to Word of Life Fellowship which seems to be their name according to their website [1], make Word of Life a disambiguation page linking to that article and this one? Entheta 23:55, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Recent developments[edit]

In the 1980s and early 1990s, there was a lot of controversy surrounding this church, as reported in the article, but since the mid-90s or so, they have kept a lower profile and become less controversial. I'll see if I can find any sources for this; if so I'll add something to the article. --Bonadea 09:33, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, there is something about this in the introduction -- I was reading the "criticism" section. That's all right then.--Bonadea 09:34, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
