7 February 2004: I added some information regarding Twila as a hymnist. Mike Walker

Ick...[edit]

The biographical section of this article is a mess now. WAVY 10 22:49, 23 May 2007 (UTC) How is her name pronounced? Tw-eye-la? Tw-ee-la? Tw-ill-a? I don't know, and many people i have spoke to don't know. Anyone who would like to put a few simple phonetical indications of the pronumciation would be helpful. ..or even the fancy international characters, too. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.71.8.217 (talk) 04:03, 25 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Twilaparis.jpg[edit]

Image:Twilaparis.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:56, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think this is a great start to an article on Twila Paris but it needs to relate more to her role as a contemporary hymnist, as this is what she is best known for within the CCM community and is probably her most important contribution to music in general. This should be done with a narrow POV . . . however, the fact that she is one of a very rare group of living people to actually write music that is taken as hymns in a number of churches speaks greatly about her import in this regard.Mike 07:04, 26 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
