section[edit]

I've been looking around and there seems to be 2 versions of his Remixploitation album. Some sites have a remix of "The Lead Sprinkler" as the second track, while others have "Monsters and Gods". What's the deal with that, and on the Remixploitation page, the name of the second track is mislabelled anyway. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lief92 (talkcontribs) 14:26, 23 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the word "relatively" that modified his parents being "well-off". Affording a maid and other servants simply makes you well off if not rich. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.122.170.170 (talk) 22:19, 31 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

John5 is no longer a member of the group

John5 was not the fifth person to join the band, i think he was the ninth. I'm pretty sure Marilyn Manson, Daisy Berkowitz, M.W Gacy, Twiggy Ramirez, Sara Lee Lucas, Gidget Gein, Zim Zum and Ginger Fish had all joined the band before John5 did. --Irresponsible 06:11, 27 Apr 2005 (UTC)

The Marilyn Manson page also lists Zsa Zsa Speck and Olivia Newton Bundy as past band members. --Irresponsible 06:16, 27 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Yes, but the band, the first Marilyn Manson and The Spooky Kids line up was Marilyn Manson, Daisy Berkowitz,Olivia Newton Bundy and Zsa Zsa Speck(the last 2 were out by the second show), and they didnt had a Human Drummer, then Gidget Gein, Madonna Wayne Gacy and Sara Lee Lucas Joined the band, and were the official band line up, without counting the Drum Machine as a Member, Lucas was the first Drummer(so there were already 2 new members) and by the Portrait of an American Family release, Gidget Gein was Fired an Twiggy Ramirez Replacesd him(3rd new member)and in Antichrist Superstar, Daisy left the band and Zim Zum came in(4rth member)and in the Mechanical Animals Tour, Zim Zum left an JOHN Joined(the 5th new Member) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hellspriest (talkcontribs) 05:59, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Page history gap[edit]

The gap in the page history from March 22 to my Sept edit is due to a copyright violation which has been deleted. RedWolf 00:36, 24 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I couldn't find the edit button for the part above so I'm posting it here. I'm fairly sure he was the 5th guitarist for the band, and that's why he's called John 5, not the fifth member overall.67.150.232.78 22:13, 10 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bio[edit]

Here's his biography at this own website: http://www.john-5.com/bio/

Does anybody want to add some info??

Married[edit]

According to an interview that Mr. Lowery gave in the July/2006 issue of Penthouse (page 18), he has been married to Aria Giovanni since summer of '05, so that has been added to the intro for his article. If anyone wants to cite it, this should be enough info to do so.

Fair use rationale for Image:Dlr band.gif[edit]

Image:Dlr band.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Style[edit]

I dont know jack bout this guys style from his page. I have heard he has some unique angles and if anyone can write a section about his influences and style i think it would make this more of a bio than a fanpage173.54.200.196 (talk) 22:14, 2 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

--Style is subjective, therefore it would best to recommend that people go to the persons site and listen. —Preceding unsigned comment added by EmmaJL5 (talkcontribs) 16:19, 14 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This was brought up by several users at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Loser (band), and is probably an idea to be considered. Thoughts? Beeblebrox (talk) 05:40, 9 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

merge this page (profile of an individual) with that of "Loser" (a band)? well that sounds completely illogical. how about we merge the page on france with the page on the european union? that would make as much sense.--86.172.77.92 (talk) 22:37, 3 March 2011 (UTC)OM[reply]
I don't think it's a good idea either. I do think both articles could use a lot of work though, but they can be stand-alone articles. Sergecross73 msg me 12:29, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • I don't see how Loser is an article in its own right. The band didn't produce an album, and I don't see any significant coverage at all. Merging is a good idea. Drmies (talk) 00:21, 2 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • AGREE The band Loser does not meet Wikipedia's criteria for notability. It is, however, a slightly interesting sidenote in John 5's career. DFS (talk) 21:14, 1 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • DISAGREE and advise to CLOSE this action due to poor reasons for merging and inactivity for over one year. Individual pages should not be merged with group pages. Verify/clean both and leave them as separate. Njshorts (talk) 13:29, 2 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in John 5 (guitarist)[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of John 5 (guitarist)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "blabbermouth1":

  • From Rob Zombie: "Rob Zombie Already At Work On Sixth Solo Effort". Blabbermouth.net. 2014-04-17. Retrieved 2014-04-17.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 01:57, 1 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
