Untitled[edit]

Tokoroa is the best and the most well known in New Zealand. The culture is well known and the industrial shops are cheap..

Fast growing town[edit]

The statement that Tokoroa is a fast growing town, does not reconcile with the opening paragraph declaring no real change in population in the last 14 years.10:01, 30 September 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Browning ave (talkcontribs)

Thanks for pointing this out. I've changed it.-gadfium 20:20, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Acknowledgement of deceased[edit]

Kia ora, I would like a section added in that acknowledges those that have passed on with attributes added in by family members. My father, Graham Rewita was a great man who passed away in 1998 alongside his elder brother Thomas Rewita in lake Taupō. My family are looking into providing a water safety workshop with Taupō council and would like to link it back to Tokoroa where we come from. TeAOMāori (talk) 21:10, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The article has a "notable people" section which lists people who are both notable and have a significant connection to Tokoroa. We include only a few words about each person. In general, we expect such people to have an existing article on Wikipedia with suitable references which demonstrate notability. See our guideline on what makes a person sufficiently notable to have an article. I don't see suitable sources online, so your father may not meet our criteria. You should also see the conflict of interest guideline.-gadfium 22:46, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
