Building expansion, Controversy, Bo Lauder[edit]

The deletion of the content was probably best, but it might be good to include a section on the current physical expansion and the controversy thereof--it is a significant aspect of how the school is defining itself lately. Polymathematics 02:50, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you think it can be done in an unbiased way, I say go for it. I don't know much of anything about what's going on at Friensd Seminary, so I can't help much. --Ahc 03:17, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Documentation - inclusion of Rosenblatt, Waldman[edit]

Thought I should document my including Roger Rosenblatt and Anne Waldman as notable alumni of the Friends Seminary. Rosenblatt, best known as an essayist with the News Hour with Jim Lehrer, talks about his experiences attending high school at the Friends Seminary (circa 1958) in his book Anything Can Happen, specifically in the essay "13 Ways of Looking at a Blackboard" (pp. 117-122). His comments are NOT flattering. Waldman mentions attending the school in her book Vow to Poetry. - klarsen 28 July 2007, 11:26PM EST (-0800)
